Education: Chris received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1999. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1993 with a major in financial economics. He graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1989.
Honors and Community Involvement: Chris has been honored by his peers as a Rising Star in the legal community for a number of years, including 2008. He has appeared in Mpls/St. Paul Magazine, Law & Politics and Twin Cities Business Monthly for this honor.
Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a current member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is a former president of the 19th District of the Minnesota State Bar Association, a former president of the Forest Lake Rotary Club, a former chair of the Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and has volunteered as a coach of the Forest Lake High School Mock Trial Team.
Practice: Chris practices in the areas of real estate litigation, business litigation and family law. He is qualified by the Minnesota Supreme Court as a mediator, arbitrator and neutral in civil cases.

Interests: Outside of his law practice, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and even an occasional pay per view Ultimate Fighting bout. He enjoys trips to his in-laws’ and his parents’ cabins, and he loves to spend time with his wife, two daughters and son.
